What you'll learn

Step 01

Dashboard

Your command center. One screen shows everything happening at your restaurant right now.

  • Today's order count and revenue with cash/card breakdown
  • Orders currently in preparation or ready for pickup
  • Active deliveries in progress
  • Average prep time, pickup wait, and delivery time
  • Quick-action shortcuts to common tasks
  • Recent activity feed at the bottom
Tip

Check the dashboard first thing every shift. For long-term trends, switch to Analytics.

Step 02

Active Orders

A real-time kanban board. Every order moves through stages as your kitchen processes it.

  • New — incoming, waiting for confirmation
  • Accepted — confirmed, entering the kitchen
  • Preparing — kitchen is working on it
  • Ready — packed, waiting for pickup or driver
  • In Transit — driver on the way to customer
  • Filter by Delivery, Takeaway, or Dine-in
  • Accept or reject with one click
Tip

You'll hear a sound notification when a new order arrives. Keep this tab open during service hours.

Step 03

Order History

Search and filter all past orders. Review any order that went through your restaurant.

  • Search by customer name, phone, or email
  • Filter by date: Today, Yesterday, Last 7/30 Days
  • Custom date range picker for any period
  • Filter by status: Completed, Cancelled, Rejected
  • Filter by type: Delivery, Takeaway, Dine-in
  • View order total, payment method, and timing

Use date filters to check revenue for specific periods. Click any row to see full order details.

Menu Editor

Build your menu with categories, items, photos, and modifiers. Changes go live instantly.

  • Drag-and-drop to reorder categories and items
  • Add items with name, price, photo, and description
  • Toggle items in or out of stock instantly
  • Mark items as Popular to feature them at the top
  • Hide entire categories when not in season
  • Import your full menu from Excel in one click
  • Add modifiers per item (sizes, extras, toppings)

Use Excel import to get started fast. Fine-tune photos and descriptions afterward.

Drivers

Manage your delivery team. Add drivers, track them on a live map, and monitor performance.

  • Live map showing each driver's location
  • Add drivers by name and phone number
  • See which order each driver is handling
  • Track daily delivery count per driver
  • Average delivery time statistics
  • Online/offline status for shift management
  • Customers see live driver tracking on their order

Drivers get order details and delivery address on their phone via Shipday. No extra app needed on your side.

Delivery Zones

Draw precise delivery areas on a map. Set different fees, minimums, and estimated times per zone.

  • Draw custom polygon zones on an interactive map
  • Set delivery fee, minimum order, and ETA per zone
  • Quick presets: Small (3 km), Medium (5 km), Large (8 km)
  • Check Address tool to test zone coverage
  • Toggle zones on or off without deleting them
  • Multiple overlapping zones supported
Tip

Create a free-delivery zone close to your restaurant. Add outer zones with higher fees to stay profitable.

Analytics

Track performance over time. Revenue, order volume, timing, and your best-selling items.

  • Filter: Today, This Week, This Month, or Last 30 Days
  • Custom date range for any period
  • Compare to previous period side by side
  • Revenue — daily chart with totals
  • Timings — prep and delivery trends
  • Items — best-selling menu items ranked
  • Peak Hours — busiest times of the day
Tip

Use Peak Hours to plan staffing. If orders spike between 7 and 9 PM, schedule extra kitchen help.

Branding

Customize your restaurant website. Upload your logo, pick a color theme, and preview changes live.

  • Upload your restaurant logo (200 x 200 px recommended)
  • Upload a hero image for the landing section
  • Add a tagline in Greek and English
  • Choose from 48 color theme presets
  • Live desktop and mobile preview on the right
  • Changes save instantly — no coding required
Tip

Switch between Desktop and Mobile preview. Most of your customers will order from their phone.

QR Codes

Generate QR codes for tables, takeaway counters, or flyers. Customers scan and order directly.

  • Select channel: Delivery, Takeaway, or Dine-in
  • Choose URL language (Greek, English, and more)
  • Single mode — one QR code at a time
  • Bulk mode — codes for all tables at once
  • Live preview with scannable QR code
  • Download as PNG or print directly
Tip

Print QR codes on table tent cards. In tourist areas, set the language to English so visitors can order easily.

Settings

Configure your restaurant profile, subscription plan, and basic information.

  • Restaurant Profile — name, address, phone, cuisine type
  • Subscription Plan — current plan, billing, order usage
  • Contact Info — email, phone, location on map
  • Legal — VAT number, company name
Tip

Keep your address and phone number up to date. Customers see this on your ordering page.

Operating Hours

Set when your restaurant accepts orders. Configure hours per day and per service channel.

  • Set opening and closing time per day of the week
  • Toggle individual days on or off
  • Separate hours for Delivery, Takeaway, and Dine-in
  • Customers see real-time open/closed status
  • Orders are blocked outside operating hours
Tip

You can accept dine-in orders all day but limit delivery to evening hours only.

Order Preferences

Control how orders work. Toggle channels, set minimums, and configure payment and prep options.

  • Enable or disable Delivery, Takeaway, Dine-in
  • Set minimum order amount per channel
  • Cash on Delivery and Online Payment toggles
  • Customer tips on or off
  • Auto-accept orders or review manually
  • Set average prep time shown to customers
Tip

Set a higher minimum for delivery to cover costs. Takeaway can have a lower or no minimum.

Notifications & Social

Connect social profiles, enable staff alerts, and manage your website visibility.

  • Link Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook profiles
  • SMS and WhatsApp alerts for new orders
  • Enable Shipday driver dispatch integration
  • Publish or unpublish your ordering website
  • Pause orders temporarily (30 min to indefinitely)
Tip

Enable SMS notifications so your staff gets an alert the moment a new order comes in.
